As CEO of FOXO Technologies, Inc. (FOXO), Mr. Lagan has over 30 years' experience in the startup, development, restructuring and management of small companies, and has secured in excess of $100 million of funding for publicly listed companies he has been involved with. The restructure saw FOXO regain compliance with SEC reporting requirements, secure funding, acquire several operating businesses from Rennova Health and correct a $17 million shareholders equity deficiency to comply with NYSE American continued listing rules requiring a minimum shareholders’ equity of $4 million. Rennova Health evolved from a business combination overseen by Seamus in 2011, in the clinical diagnostics and healthcare software sectors. That business was transformed from less than $1M of annual revenue in 2011 to over $57M in revenue in 2014 with approximately $19M in earnings. Seamus then oversaw a merger to secure a Nasdaq listing of the Company in 2015. Significant disruption in the diagnostics sector in which the company was focused, in 2016, created a need for the business to adopt a new business model and the Company transitioned to ownership, operation and development of rural hospitals and the separation of its healthcare software division into another publicly listed company.
